Gilles Valcourt was 27 when he was last seen at the Canada Hotel in Waterloo, Quebec, on December 29, 1974. After that visit, all contact with his family stopped and no confirmed sighting or communication has been reported. He is described as about five feet seven inches, medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. Distinguishing marks include a scar on his left shoulder, a tattoo of a dagger and a cross on his left upper arm, and the middle and ring fingers missing from his left hand.

The Sûreté du Québec handled the investigation, which remains open but yielded no breakthrough. If anyone has memories of Gilles, recalls seeing him in the Waterloo area around late December 1974, or can share information about his last known movements, please come forward.
