It strikes me as odd that there was nearly a week between his last sighting and the report. Could it be that Calahan had a history of taking off for a few days, or was it because the contents of that letter raised concerns she hadn’t felt before? It's also curious that the letter was significant enough to prompt her to contact the authorities immediately, yet we know so little about what it contained. Anyone have thoughts or more insights into why this gap might exist?
