I recently stumbled across the case of Peter Vollar while reading through some old missing persons cases, and something that really confounds me is the lack of detail about his travel plans and how he intended to get to London. With everything he left behind, it just seems odd there wasn't a clear mode of transportation mentioned. Did he hitchhike, take a bus, or ride with someone? It's hard to believe that nobody might have seen the guy, especially if he was on public transport. In the mid-'70s, not every travel detail was digital, but you would think there'd be at least a simple paper trail, like a bus ticket purchase. It's like he just vanished into thin air once he left the city. Has anyone looked into transportation records or talked about the routes he might have taken? It seems like a key piece of the mystery that's still missing decades later.
