Hey everybody, I've been digging into the mystery of William Wabie's disappearance and came across something intriguing about the condition in which his boat was found. It's curious that the boat's plug was pulled and it was discovered at full throttle. Does anyone else think this might point to foul play or maybe a mechanical failure? The fact that his personal items were still in the boat is also odd to me. If it was just an accident, wouldn't he have tried to grab at least one thing to help him stay afloat or signal for help? I can't help but wonder if there was anyone else out on the water that day who might have seen something unusual. Shoal Lake is vast, but surely someone could have spotted that boat behaving erratically before they found it drifting. It’s been decades, and yet this detail bugs me—how could everything in the boat remain untouched? Any thoughts or theories on this?
