Hey everyone,
I was diving into the details of Wilhelmina Bruce Wanner’s case and something caught my eye about the jury's decision during Jacob Wanner's trial. It just makes me wonder how the absence of a body played into their deliberations. I know it's one of those situations where everything is circumstantial, but with the evidence at hand—like the bloodstains and everything else—it seems so unlikely for her to have just vanished willingly without any trace. It’s hard to digest how it swung in favor of acquittal. I just imagine how tough it must have been for the jury to weigh everything without a definitive piece like the body. Also curious if there's any legal precedent from the case that influences how similar cases are handled today, especially in unsolved mysteries where the person is never found. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Looking forward to hearing what you all think.
