Wow, Aren Washburn's case is one that’s really stuck with me. I’ve had such a hard time wrapping my mind around the phone found on the Rainbow Bridge. The bridge is such a significant symbol—connecting two countries—and yet, this case seems to have built a wall of silence around what happened that night. I’ve been curious if there were any additional surveillance camera images from around that area that night. Was there maybe something, or someone, caught in the background that could have been overlooked? And what about the people who cross that bridge regularly, like local commuters or workers? Has anyone from that night been asked if they saw anything unusual? I just feel like bridges—both literally and metaphorically—should be all about connection, and yet Aren's story is disconnected from resolution. My heart goes out to his family who’s been in this limbo for far too long.
