I’ve been following Dexter Karl Whitford’s case for a while now, and one thing that always sticks with me is the timeline discrepancy in his disappearance. It's honestly baffling how the last family sighting was said to be in 2004 according to the police reports, but there seems to be confusion around this, with some of the family mentioning 2006. That’s a substantial gap—it's hard to piece together how something like this happens. Do any of you think this could have been an error in initial reporting, or is it possible the family had reasons for a delayed report? Given the amount of time that passed before the official missing person's report, I think it complicated things so much for law enforcement trying to trace his steps. Would love to hear if anyone has insights into how such timeline discrepancies usually get handled. Could make or break solving the mystery behind his disappearance.
