I've come across some interesting discussions around the spot where Murphy Lloyd Williams was working when he disappeared. Having lived near the Alaska Highway myself for a while, I know how incredibly isolated some places can be. It’s a vast wilderness out there. But I’m puzzled about the timeline between his odd behavior and his last sighting. Does anyone think there could be a connection between his reported distress and the location he was working at? It’s curious to me why he’d just started there and then disappeared almost immediately. Are there any similar cases from that area or maybe anything peculiar about Mile 30 back then? Just speculating, but maybe some of you might have some local insight or historical context that could be relevant!
