Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here might be able to help or has some thoughts. When Denise's rental car was found at the Acadian Trailhead, it made me think about the possible routes she might have taken. I've hiked the trail a few times myself, and there are a lot of spots where you could easily go off the main path, intentionally or not. Given the weather at that time of year and the dense forest, it's just so easy to lose your bearings, even for an experienced hiker. It got me wondering if Denise might have ventured onto one of those side trails or perhaps tried to get closer to the lookouts for a photo. With no cell service in parts of that area, it could have been difficult for her to call for help if she got into trouble. Does anyone know if there are particular spots on the Acadian Trail known for being tricky or easy to get disoriented in? I think the more we know about those areas, the better we can help spread word or keep a lookout if anyone happens to be hiking there. Thanks for any thoughts you can share.
