Hey everyone, I've been following Eric Wong's case and recently stumbled across something interesting while going through the archives. I noticed in a few newspaper clippings from 1997 and 1998 that mention of a phone call he supposedly made to his mom in October 1997, asking for tuition money, has come up more than once but with slightly different details each time.
Has anyone else looked into this or noticed the discrepancies? It makes me wonder if there was more to that call, or if it was even from Eric at all. Could someone have been impersonating him? Given the timeline of his disappearance, it's such a bizarre piece of the puzzle.
I'm curious if anyone has any theories or insights about this call. Do you think this could potentially be a key piece of information that got lost in the shuffle? It feels like such a small lead that's been seemingly overlooked but might hold more weight than we realize. Would love to hear your thoughts.
