Herman Yahyahkeekoot was 60 when he was last seen at a group home farm in the Duck Lake District, Saskatchewan, on March 28, 1986. He lived near Nesbit Forest and had a history of leaving the residence on his own, which initially lessened immediate alarm when he didn’t return. Described as Indigenous, Herman stood about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches and weighed about 139 pounds, with black hair in a brush cut and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, brown pants, black rubber boots, and a brown checked winter cap. Extensive searches of the Nesbit Forest and surrounding area were conducted but turned up no leads, and the disappearance remains unresolved.
