Chad Mullen, 53, of Putnam County, Florida, was last seen September 9, 2024, traveling with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Caylen Deller, toward 465 San Mateo Road in Satsuma, where Deller’s business Stormy’s Stables is located. His phone last pinged in that area on September 10. Mullen’s body was found buried on October 28, 2024, on a farm at 852 Federal Point Road in Hastings, less than half a mile from the Putnam–St. Johns county line.

Caylen Deller, 30, was identified as a person of interest and arrested November 8, 2024, in Volusia County after missing a scheduled appointment. She has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm, tampering with physical evidence, and failure to report Mullen’s death. Tina Marie Lee-Ellis, 56, of Satsuma surrendered November 7, 2024, and faces charges including accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and failing to report a death; she was granted a $540,000 bond.

The indictment alleges Mullen was fatally shot on September 9 or 10 and accuses Deller of tampering with evidence between September 9–12, including moving and concealing the body and various items. Does anyone have information about Mullen’s movements in Satsuma or the days around September 9–10?
