Did anyone else catch the detail about the sighting in Toba Inlet roughly three weeks before the police appeal? I find it curious that someone allegedly spotted him but it took so long for the report to make its way to the authorities. If Zuk was indeed seen there, it might support the idea that he survived for a time on his own, even if briefly. Toba Inlet is quite isolated, though. Does anyone here know if there's seasonal fishing or logging activity in that area that might have kept someone out and about during those colder months? Maybe he met someone working out there. Any insights from locals or anyone familiar with those remote waters might be invaluable. It feels like even the smallest detail could lead to a breakthrough here.
