Hey everyone, I've been digging into Anthony Zukewich's disappearance and something really struck me about the witness report from Long Point. This resident mentioned seeing only one person in the canoe, yet the canoe was riding weirdly flat, which makes me wonder if Anthony or his friend might have already been in the water at that point. I've been thinking about what could cause the canoe to appear so weighted down—with no visible second person. Could it be that something or someone heavier was submerged or clinging onto the side, making it harder to see from a distance? Considering how rough the waters were that day, maybe the witness saw a moment when they were struggling to get back in. Anyone else have any interpretations or theories on why that canoe looked like that? It's been haunting me just thinking about those conditions and what might've happened after they left the shore. ?
