I've been thinking a lot about this culture of silence and how damaging it is, especially in cases like Robert Trusty III's. It’s incredibly frustrating to know there are people out there who have information that could help bring closure to Robert’s family but choose not to share it. I understand the fear of retaliation or distrust in law enforcement, but isn't the greater fear that justice won't be served? Robert’s family is enduring unimaginable pain, and it feels like a moral obligation to come forward for those who can. If anyone knows something, they can share tips anonymously. We can’t let fear and silence prevail over justice and truth. My thoughts are with the Trusty family during this incredibly difficult time.
