Jim White, 30, known to friends as JB, was shot and killed in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after 12:30 a.m. on February 21, 2024. According to witness accounts, White was sitting in his car with his girlfriend on McClellan Street near North 24th Avenue in a residential neighborhood when a person in another vehicle approached and opened fire. Neighbors described intense, sustained gunfire — one said it sounded like assault rifles and another reported seeing more than eight bullet strikes — and many felt vibrations from the shots.

A second person was critically injured and taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. The shooter fled before police arrived; the Hollywood Police Department is investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them or submit anonymous tips to Broward Crime Stoppers. Does anyone have information about that night or knew Jim White and can help the investigation?
