I've been following this tragic case and can't help but think about the feelings of anger and helplessness Proenza’s son must be experiencing. It breaks my heart to think he had to warn his dad about the gun and then witness such an unthinkable act. I can't imagine being in his shoes, trying to protect his family while facing such chaos. It’s somewhat reassuring to know the community has come together to support this family, but I hope they’re also receiving mental health support after such an ordeal. No child should have to go through something like this. Sending all my thoughts and strength to Proenza's family, particularly his kids who have lost their father in such a needless act of violence. This madness has to stop. ?
