Did anyone else notice how quickly the officers arrived at the scene after the gunshots were detected? I think it's worth noting how the gunshot detection system seems to be making a difference in responding to these tragic incidents. It's just so sad to think that even with rapid response, we lost Nicholas. I've been thinking a lot about his family and friends—a young life taken away so senselessly. It's hard to imagine the pain they're going through right now. Really hoping that more people in the community will come forward with information. It feels like we're all just piecing together fragments, trying to make sense of something so terrible. Thoughts are with everyone affected, especially with another shooting happening so recently in the same area. This community surely needs some peace.
