Kyla Alexandra Arce, 33, was killed on October 23, 2023, at a home in Coral Springs, Florida. Police say the shooting happened at the residence of her boyfriend Paul Digiacinto’s parents on Northwest 21st Street near 107th Way. Officers found Arce on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head after a standoff in which Digiacinto refused to surrender.

She heard gunshots and later found Digiacinto seated beside Arce with a firearm nearby. Digiacinto allegedly attacked his father during the incident; the father escaped with injuries including rib fractures and was taken to Broward Health Coral Springs Hospital.

Police say Digiacinto attempted to prevent communication by taking and trying to flush cell phones before SWAT officers tackled and arrested him at the rear of the house. He was taken to Broward County Main Jail held without bond and charged with premeditated murder. Friends described Arce as a warm presence who loved her plants. Does anyone have information about Kyla’s last days or the people who were with her in Coral Springs?
