April Mullins, 33, was found dead in a ditch near Forest Drive and State Road 44 in Lake County on December 1, 2015. She had last been seen on November 25, 2015, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and black skinny jeans. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office described the circumstances as suspicious and called for public help to reconstruct her movements and the people she may have been with in the days before she was found.

Authorities have not released a cause of death and said it is unclear whether she was killed at the location where her body was discovered or whether it was moved there after the killing. Neighbors remembered her as well-liked and the community was left devastated by her death. Detectives are asking anyone with information, including anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers, to come forward with what they know.
