Lukman Attah-Slater Mohammed, 23, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of January 6, 2023, at the Seabrook Apartments complex near Winter Park, Florida. Neighbors reported hearing three loud sounds, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office found Mohammed on the ground when deputies arrived at about 6:50 AM.

Two brothers, Christopher Burke, 23, and Caleb Burke, 20, were arrested in connection with the case and charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. Both made first court appearances on February 11, 2023, and were denied bond. No motive or additional details about the incident have been released.
