Marianna Guillen, 24, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of October 21, 2024, at the Gwinnett Station Apartment Homes in unincorporated Tucker, Georgia. Gwinnett County police found her around 7:30 a.m.; she had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was described as domestic-related.

Preliminary investigation identified 26-year-old Aaron Guillen of Norcross as the suspect. He and Marianna were not married but had children together; other family members, including children, were reported to be in the home at the time. Marianna’s father said she had been planning to leave her partner because of domestic violence.

Aaron Guillen fled after the shooting and was located and arrested in Newton County on October 22, 2024. He was taken into custody and held in the Newton County jail pending extradition to Gwinnett County, facing multiple charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
