Dr. William Thomas Hargrove, Jr., 67, was killed in a shooting at a residence on Osborne Road in Flowery Branch, Georgia, on September 2, 2024. Deputies from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call just after 6:45 a.m.; Hargrove was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

A 33-year-old man who lived in the same home was also shot multiple times and had been taken to the hospital by a family member before deputies arrived. His identity has not been released; he was reported to be receiving treatment. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and have not provided details about what led to the shooting or named any suspects.
