A dispute between two brothers in Eastman, Georgia, on the morning of Monday, March 18, 2024, ended in a fatal shooting. Zachary John Taylor, 24, was found on Wilson Woodard Road with a single gunshot wound around 2:00 a.m. Emergency medical services took him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the fight involved Zachary and his older brother, 27-year-old Andrew Taylor. Preliminary findings led the GBI to arrest Andrew Taylor; he was charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of felony murder. The investigation remains active as authorities continue to piece together the events that led to the shooting.
