Michaela Angel Chaney, 23, was found dead after her family reported her missing in Warner Robins, Georgia, in February 2024. A student at Central Georgia Technical College pursuing nursing, Chaney was reported missing after her vehicle was discovered abandoned on the morning of February 3, 2024. Officers conducting a welfare check at her apartment later that day found signs of a struggle.

Her body was recovered in a wooded area. Prosecutors say the investigation focused on her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old Jayveon Jermaine Bivins, who allegedly went to Chaney’s apartment to confront her about text messages she had received. Authorities contend Bivins shot Chaney in the head with a firearm taken from her purse, wrapped her body in bedding, put her in the trunk of her car, and disposed of her remains in the woods. He is also accused of cleaning the apartment, removing shell casings and a Ring doorbell camera, and bleaching the vehicle before abandoning it. Chaney’s dog Milo was also killed.

If anyone knew Michaela, where she lived, or saw her car on February 3, 2024, please come forward with information.
