Semaj Christopher Floyd was 16 when he and 20-year-old Omarion Whitfield were found fatally shot at the intersection of Amaranth Avenue and Perth Street in Savannah, Georgia, on the evening of December 4, 2023. Savannah police officers responding to a Shotspotter alert discovered both victims around 6:20 p.m. with fatal gunshot wounds. Authorities say the deaths were connected to an attempted robbery.

Three people were later indicted in the double homicide: Harold Roberson, Vazquez Lisan Coleman, and Joshua Reddick. Reports state Roberson and Coleman were out on bond on an unrelated 2021 murder at the time of the December 2023 shootings. The indictment includes felony murder counts.

Semaj Floyd was a teenager whose life was cut short just before milestones including high school graduation and his 18th birthday. Does anyone who knew Semaj or was in that neighborhood that night have information that could help the investigation?
