On December 3, 2023, 16-year-old Tahjaan Tyler, a Black male, was found on the ground with a gunshot wound at the Ashley Woods Apartments on Quarry Road in Stockbridge, Georgia. Emergency crews took him to a local hospital, where he later died. Family members describe him as the youngest of five children who enjoyed swimming, playing with his dogs, and spending time with loved ones.

Family says Tyler had recently turned 16 in June and that he attempted to intervene in a domestic violence situation he witnessed the day he was shot. Investigators identified 24-year-old Victor Hull of Stockbridge as the primary suspect. On January 13, 2024, Hull was located at the Park at Mt. Zion Apartments in Jonesboro and arrested without incident by fugitive units from Clayton County and Henry County.

Hull was charged with murder, aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and was denied bond. Does anyone have information about Tahjaan’s movements that day or witnessed the incident at Ashley Woods Apartments?
