Terrance D. Booker, 17, was fatally shot in the early morning of June 29, 2024, in Cahokia Heights, Illinois. Officers answered a call about 5:19 AM to the 1300 block of Williams Street and found Terrance lying in a yard, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cahokia Heights Police Department called in the Major Case Squad. Investigators from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Wood River Police Department and Caseyville Police Department joined the probe; Sgt. Justin Biggs, Det. Sgt. Aaron Burns and Det. Sgt. Danny Allison were among those on the investigative team. Lamondre A. Wilson, 20, was charged with 1st Degree Murder in connection with Terrance Booker’s death.
