I've been following the Daniel Adkins case since it first made the news, and I can't stop thinking about his dog, Sam, who was with him the night he was killed. From what I've read, Sam was found unharmed nearby, and it just breaks my heart thinking about how confused and alone he must have felt. Dogs are such loyal companions, and I truly believe they can sense when something is wrong. I wonder if Sam might hold any clues or memories that could point to the person responsible.

I've been following Daniel Adkins' case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of CCTV or any kind of surveillance footage from the area where he was found. It's just so frustrating. I know Gainesville isn't exactly downtown NYC, but it's 2013—there had to be some cameras around, right? Maybe nearby businesses or traffic cams could hold some clues. Was any footage ever recovered or analyzed?
