Devon D. Davis, 33, was found shot inside a home in the 300 block of Walnut Circle in Bolingbrook, Illinois, on September 18, 2023. Police were called shortly before 2 p.m.; officers arrived to find Davis injured and he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Reports say the shooting stemmed from a family argument and was not considered a random act of violence.

Authorities named Devon’s brother, Timothy Terrell Davis, 28, as the suspected shooter; he fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.
