Jordan Angel Lee Loveall, 21, was fatally shot in Lafayette, Indiana, on the evening of August 4, 2023. The shooting occurred after Loveall arranged to sell marijuana to two men who had traveled to the area for a job assignment. The meeting was set on Roosevelt Street and, according to investigators, became a robbery that escalated to violence.

Two men from Texas, David Trevino, 21, and Adrian Suarez, 23, were arrested in the days after the shooting and charged in connection with Loveall’s death. Authorities say Trevino allegedly produced a gun and demanded the drugs; Loveall drew a firearm and an exchange of gunfire followed. Loveall was struck in the chest, collapsed in his driveway, and later died at a hospital.

Suarez later testified that the original plan was to snatch the drugs and flee; he described Trevino confronting Loveall at gunpoint and acknowledged remorse. Does anyone have information about Loveall’s activities that evening or who saw the meeting on Roosevelt Street?
