Kadeem Jamal Jackson, 32, was found dead outside a wrecked black SUV on Lisle Road in Scott County on October 25, 2024. The SUV had been reported stolen that same day during an armed robbery in Lexington; the theft was reported from Kearney Ridge Boulevard and the robbery victim said it occurred while driving on Georgetown Road. Deputies initially responded to what appeared to be a collision, but an autopsy later ruled the cause of death a single gunshot wound, and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office opened a homicide investigation.
Investigators are treating the death as possibly linked to the vehicle theft and are focused on the timeline between the reported robbery and the discovery of Mr. Jackson’s body. Authorities appealed to the public for information about his whereabouts the night of his death. No arrests or suspects have been publicly identified.
Does anyone have information about Mr. Jackson’s movements or about the stolen SUV between the Lexington robbery and the Lisle Road crash?
