On the evening of Saturday, May 25, 2024, deputies responded to a Sandidge Spur residence in Eubank, Kentucky, and found two brothers dead of gunshot wounds. Victims were identified as 57-year-old Dennis E. Mullins (born September 29, 1966) and his 55-year-old brother Anthony Mullins. Both were white and had died of fatal gunshot injuries by the time officers arrived.

Investigators quickly focused on a single suspect: Dennis’s 26-year-old son, Brandon Mullins, a Lincoln County resident. A warrant was issued, and the University of Kentucky Police located and arrested Brandon, who was charged in the killings and held at the Pulaski County Detention Center on $1 million bond. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office are handling the active investigation.
