Danielle Teresa Ashley, 43, of Glendale, Kentucky, died on December 17, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. A clinic director and the daughter of a military family, she was remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved the outdoors and sunsets and was known in her community for her compassion.

No arrests or suspects have been publicly named in connection with her death.
