Tymon Dykyl ’Ty-Ly’ Ross, a 33-year-old musician and father of two, was shot and killed on December 8, 2009, in DeLand, Florida. He was known locally for his music and dedication to his children. Authorities have not identified any suspects and the case remains unsolved and classified as a cold case.
Investigators have said robbery may have been the motive. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office has repeatedly appealed for new leads and Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida is offering a cash reward for information that could lead to an arrest. Tymon’s family has said they suspect who may be responsible, but no charges have been filed.
Anyone who knew Tymon or has information about his killing is asked to contact the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers.
