On the evening of October 19, 2024, 58-year-old Don Stovall was shot and later died at a hospital after being found unconscious in the detached garage of his Manhattan, Kansas home. Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded about 8:45 p.m. to the 700 block of North 4th Street for a reported shooting. His wife, Mary, told police two men identified as Aiden Keener and Antwajuane McNeil were in the garage with her husband, and a third man who said he had been beaten and forced to come along remained inside the house. Mary reported hearing pops from the garage, then saw a red truck speed away and found her husband on the floor and called 911.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant at a home on Saddlehorn Trail in nearby Ogden in the early morning hours after the shooting and arrested 20-year-old Aiden Shane Keener on probable cause for murder and kidnapping. A separate search warrant at an Eighth Street residence in Ogden a few days later led to the arrest of 31-year-old Antwajuane Jerome McNeil on charges that included first-degree murder and kidnapping. What additional information can anyone who knew Don or was in the area that night share?
