Ladavaris Johnson, 25, was shot and killed on August 27, 2008, in Miami, Florida. His death remains an unsolved homicide and is listed among Miami’s cold cases from the 2000s. The Miami Police Department and Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers have repeatedly requested public help; a reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Investigators say the probe has made little progress because of a lack of eyewitness testimony and no significant new evidence. Detectives believe even a small tip could break the case and have urged anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers hotline anonymously.

If anyone knew Ladavaris, was in the area on August 27, 2008, or has information about his killing, please contact Crime Stoppers.
