Megan Campbell, a 32-year-old woman from North Ridgeville, Ohio, was found fatally shot in a vehicle on Red Road in White County, Tennessee, on May 8, 2024. Authorities have identified her boyfriend, Jason Norris, as the primary suspect in her killing. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the inquiry into Campbell’s death.
After the shooting, Norris fled to Ohio. North Ridgeville police located his vehicle through a license plate tracking alert and responded to the residence where he was staying. Officers say Norris fired at them; they returned fire, striking him. He was later pronounced dead at a local medical center. Two officers involved in the shooting have been placed on paid administrative leave while the Bureau of Criminal Investigation reviews the encounter.
Campbell leaves three children, ages 14, 11, and 6; her family has asked for support for the children. Does anyone have information about Campbell’s movements before May 8 or about witnesses in White County that could help investigators?
