On December 12, 2007, Nancy Bochicchio, 47, and her 7-year-old daughter Joey were found shot to death in Nancy’s SUV in the Town Center Mall parking lot in Boca Raton, Florida. The vehicle was still running when their bodies were discovered. Both victims had been bound with zip ties and duct tape, their eyes covered with blackout goggles, and had been shot at point-blank range. Evidence indicated they were forced to withdraw cash from an ATM before the killings.
Their deaths fit a pattern of violent incidents at the same mall in 2007: the earlier abduction and murder of shopper Randi Gorenberg and a separate attempted abduction in which a mother and young child were forced to withdraw cash but later released. Investigators pursued several leads, including a jailhouse informant tip implicating a gang member, but no conclusive evidence has solved the case and the murders remain unsolved despite rewards being offered.
Does anyone who shopped at Town Center Mall in December 2007 recall anything unusual that day or have information that could help investigators?
