Andre McKinnon Jr., 29, was shot and killed at Hush Cabaret in Euclid, Ohio, on November 12, 2023. Video from the scene shows chaotic conditions; an angry crowd delayed ambulance arrival while police officers performed CPR. Despite emergency efforts, McKinnon died of his injuries.

Detectives reported one suspect has been detained and charges are expected, but the suspect’s identity and the specific charges were not disclosed and the motive remains unclear. The shooting has deeply affected McKinnon’s family, friends, and the Euclid community.
