Angel A. Rivera was 44 when he was murdered in Miami, Florida, on March 25, 2007. His body was found under circumstances that suggested foul play, but investigators say leads quickly went cold and the case remains unsolved.
Miami-Dade detectives point to limited witness cooperation and a lack of sufficient forensic evidence as persistent obstacles in Rivera’s case. The department’s Cold Case Squad, created in the early 1980s to reexamine unsolved homicides, has not yet been able to identify suspects in this matter.
No arrest has been announced and authorities are still seeking tips and any information that might revive the investigation. Did anyone in Miami have contact with Angel Rivera in the weeks before March 25, 2007, or know of details that could help investigators?
