Maria Jackson was 19 when her body was found behind bushes in front of a residence at 665 East Jeffrey Street in Boca Raton on July 18, 2003. She had been reported missing to the Coral Springs Police Department on June 30, 2003 after last being heard from on June 27, when she made a purchase at a Walmart in Coral Springs and later told her brother she was going to work. Her remains were located in a sealed garbage bag after a landlord complained of a foul odor; investigators estimate the body had likely been at the site since early July, possibly July 3.
Maria worked under the stage name Dynasty at Gold Rush, a nightclub in Miami. There were no signs of a struggle at her apartment and her green BMW was still parked at the complex; investigators were unable to determine what happened to her after June 27. No suspects have been named and the case remains unsolved. If anyone has information that could help, please contact the Boca Raton Police Department or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers.
