Just thinking about the circumstances surrounding Jose Pineda Pineda's murder has me pondering the state of that vacant house on 118 North 6th Street. It makes you wonder who else might have been lurking around there and how often people ventured into that property. Was it known to others as a dangerous spot? Did it have a reputation in the neighborhood? This whole area should be looked into more closely, in my opinion. Perhaps someone saw something but dismissed it because of how rough that place might have seemed. It's so unsettling to think about the fear Jose must have felt during those moments. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they seek answers and justice.
