James Page, 30, of Washington, D.C., was shot and killed inside a residence in the 6800 block of Old Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, Maryland, in the early morning hours of July 2, 2024. Prince George’s County officers arrived at about 2:40 a.m. and found Page suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators quickly identified a suspect known to the victim. Authorities named 23-year-old Damonte Isaiah Harris as responsible for the fatal shooting and said the attack arose from an ongoing dispute between Harris and Page. Harris fled after the shooting, and on August 30, 2024 the Prince George’s County Police Department Fugitive Unit located and arrested him. He was charged with first- and second-degree murder and related offenses and was held without bond.

If anyone has information about Page, the events that night, or the dispute that preceded the shooting, please share what is known with investigators.
