Every time I read about Earl Ervin’s case, I can't help but think about how this could have happened at such a busy facility. Was anyone working with him when it happened? It’s chilling to think about the possibility that someone might have seen something and not realized its significance, or worse, chose not to come forward. The Solid Waste Division must have been a bustling place, even back in the '80s. You’d think there would be some witnesses or clues left behind. Earl's family has waited so long for answers. It just reminds me that even though time moves on, the silent questions and the need for justice remain with them, and they deserve so much more. I wonder if anyone here has any connections or insights into what it was like there during that era. It could really help spark some new thinking on the case.
