A domestic dispute in Clio, Michigan, on March 26, 2024, ended in a deadly shooting that left 31-year-old Ron Tatro and another person dead. The argument between domestic partners began earlier in the day and escalated that evening when 28-year-old Eric Bennett allegedly shot Tatro multiple times while Tatro was on the phone with his mother. When 51-year-old Kasi Ane Gipe arrived to check on the situation, she was also fatally shot by Bennett.

Multiple 911 calls reported domestic violence and shots fired. Officers arrived to find Bennett actively shooting; body camera footage released by authorities captures officers attempting to de-escalate and warning they did not want to shoot. Bennett reportedly fired at officers, who returned fire. After being subdued, Bennett was treated at the scene but died of his injuries. In total three people, including the suspect, died.
