Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Norman Fry's case and my heart really goes out to his son, who had to bear the unimaginable trauma of finding his father like that. I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of impact that must have had on him growing up. It’s so important that we support the families involved in such tragic cases, even so many years later. I was wondering, does anyone here have experience with Project Cold Case or similar organizations? They’ve been advocating for Fry’s case, and I truly hope their continued efforts can at least offer some support to his family, if not new leads for the investigation. It's crucial to keep discussing these cases so they don't fade from the public’s memory. Any bit of new info that might come up could be the key to finally getting some answers. Also, thank you to everyone always sharing these stories and keeping these victims in our thoughts. Let’s hope justice comes for Norman and his family one day. ?

I was reading up on some of the older unsolved cases in Gainesville and came across Norman Fry’s story. It's so tragic to think that his young son found him; the emotional impact on that child must have been immense and long-lasting. I've been following the efforts of Project Cold Case and it's encouraging to see them keeping Norman's story alive. Does anyone know if there’s anything specific the public can do to help out with these cold cases? Sometimes I wonder if there's a piece of the puzzle that hasn’t been brought to light yet. It makes you think about how important community involvement can be, even decades later. My thoughts really go out to Norman’s family. They deserve to know what happened, and justice needs to be served for Norman's sake. If anyone has ideas or has heard about recent efforts, it would be great to discuss them.

I recently stumbled upon the Norman Fry case, and it really struck a chord with me, especially understanding that his young son was the one to find him. It’s something no child should ever have to experience, and I can only imagine the lasting impact it must have had on him and the rest of the family. I've been diving into some of these older unsolved cases, and something that's been on my mind is the sheer number of them. I keep thinking about how technology has evolved so much since the late '70s. What could have been overlooked back then that might stand out with today’s investigative tools? I know Gainesville PD has been reaching out for leads, but I'm curious if there’s been any attempt to re-analyze old evidence with modern techniques, like DNA profiling. I feel for the family left in limbo all these years. If anyone has insight or even theories about how re-investigation processes have been applied to cases like Norman’s, I’d love to hear about it. It’s frustrating knowing there’s a family out there still yearning for answers after all this time.
