On the night of August 20, 2024, 58-year-old Diana Osborne was fatally shot outside her daughter’s home on Star Bluff Road in the Wampee community of Longs, South Carolina. The shooting happened about 12:30 a.m., and Osborne died at the scene. A cosmetologist for more than 30 years, she was a mother of two daughters and a grandmother of three; family remembered her as the peacemaker who enjoyed crafts, gardening, and caring for her fish.
For months the case remained under investigation with no immediate arrests announced. On November 27, 2024, authorities arrested 30-year-old Ramondez Deandre Myers of Myrtle Beach; he was extradited to Horry County and booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on charges of involuntary manslaughter and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
If anyone knew Diana or has information about what happened that night, please come forward.
