Krist Roker, 37, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in Spartanburg’s Adams Park on East Boundary Drive after an anonymous 911 call on the evening of July 2, 2024. Born in New York on August 16, 1986, he was a father of a son and a daughter and remembered by friends and family as a car enthusiast and avid video gamer.
Investigators say Roker was deliberately lured to the park as part of a plan to kidnap him and transport him elsewhere; that plan ended in his murder. Arrest warrants and subsequent police action resulted in multiple arrests over the following months. Jason Randall Jurs, 34, was charged with murder; Jurs and Natalie Alexis Hudson, 27, faced conspiracy to commit kidnapping and were denied bond. In late July, Patrick Robinson, 31, was arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping. In October, Carrie Yemens was arrested in Greenville and charged with murder, accused of helping lure Roker to the park.
Are there details about Krist’s movements that evening or anyone who saw him near Adams Park that could help the investigation?
