Late on a mid-October evening in 2023, a dispute outside a North Charleston nightclub on Dorchester Road escalated into gunfire that left two men dead. Antonio Lenard Patterson, 32, was involved in a verbal altercation with another man, identified as Allen Jaleel-Micha Green. Witnesses and police say the argument intensified, Green produced a firearm and shot Patterson, who later died of his injuries.

A security guard at the club intervened after the initial shooting and shot Green. Green was pronounced dead at the scene; Patterson also died after emergency responders were called. The North Charleston Police Department investigated, processed the scene and interviewed witnesses. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office identified both men.
